As a wife and husband duo, our roles naturally complement one another. Maša is the creative force behind the handmade lace and ceramics that fill our space with intricate beauty. Each piece she creates is a testament to the rich tradition of lace-making in our region, while her ceramics blend both art and function, bringing a sense of timeless craftsmanship to our home.
Meanwhile, Borut focuses on the kitchen, preparing dishes that tell a story of local ingredients, flavors, and traditions. Cooking has always been his passion, and he believes that food is a powerful way to connect with culture and history. Additionally, he is an avid hiker, which allows him to explore and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding us.
Our goal is simple: we want our apartments to be a place where cultural inspiration meets comfort. We believe that art and heritage should be accessible, and we’ve designed our space to reflect this philosophy. Each room is thoughtfully crafted to provide both relaxation and inspiration, allowing our guests to unwind while experiencing the essence of our culture. We've hosted many artists in our apartments and studio. A book was written, a painting was painted, an exhibition was held, a movie was filmed, an international lace exhibition was created and a designer studio ran a Lace Festival show from our place.
